The theme for 2024 is Adventure Begins at Your Library! This summer, we'll be having the adventure of a lifetime right here at your library! Join us for a variety of adventures including a prehistoric pep rally and an interactive show where the audience helps a pirate crew find a buried treasure! We will also have two Adventure Storytimes each week on Wednesday and Saturday (Saturday will be a repeat of the Wednesday storytime) and arts and crafts every Friday.
Kids will also receive a Passport to Adventure, where they can keep track of their reading and adventures all summer long to earn brag tags, prizes and entries to our grand prize drawing. We will have four (4) grand prizes this year, with no limit on how many entries you can turn in!
Children ages nine (9) and up can attend Summer Library Program events without a parent or guardian present, but we do ask that if you are bringing a large group of children to have a helper present to assist them. Any child under age nine (9) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least thirteen (13) years of age.
Please register online or stop at the Children's Library to register in person. Summer Library Program packets can be picked up at any time in the Children's Library starting May 1st, but remember your reading only counts starting June 1st!
