"L.M. Shaw Chaper of Questers" Hosts Informational Meeting September 25th!
The "L.M. Shaw Chapter of Questers" will hold an informational meeting on September 25th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on the main floor of the library. An exhibit of several collections and information about Questers will be available. The meeting will be held as an open forum format. Full Time Senior Library Assistant Opening
The Norelius Community Library seeks a full time Library Assistant Starting wage commensurate with experience and training. The duties and responsibilities of the full time Senior Library Assistant include: Inter Library Loan Program Coordinator: Ordering, returning and tracking the ILL program, Library Programming Manager: Assist with Library programming and promotion. Customer Service-Assisting patrons as needed, circulation procedures, provide reference assistance, genealogy research assistance, clerical tasks: completion of patron forms, patron cards, meeting minutes, materials processing, catalog magazines, shelving and straightening shelves, assist customers with computers, faxes, photocopies and other technology. Suggested Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or GED • Ability to perform the assigned duties • Strong knowledge of technology • Bi-lingual welcome!
