Join the Denison Library Friends at the corner of Chestnut and Sweet Streets* (14th and 1st Ave South) Sunday, February 8th for an afternoon of “Sweet” music. Experience the graciousness of the Fireside Rooms in the original Carnegie Library. Sit back and relax with a cup of coffee or tea, a delightful dessert, and the soothing sounds of live music.
On tap will be the sounds of Doug Rohde and Kevin McKeown as they entertain with a selection of upbeat acoustic music for your winter-weary ears; an array of decadent desserts to tempt your taste buds; and a silent auction with several of our popular gift baskets.
This will be the first major fundraiser for the Denison Library Friends in 2009. Proceeds from fundraisers provide for Young Adult and Children’s programming and library furnishings.
